しばらくお休みしていましたが、2014年はサーキットでの活動を再開させたいと思います。
来年1月の初旬に筑波での練習を予定しています。当社からはAbarthを持ち込みたいと思います！

Merry christmas！

UKの仕事仲間、友人、そして新たなに知り合うことの出来た人達ととても貴重な時間を過ごせた２週間でした。
そして以前から懇意にさせていただいている方から頼まれていた３台のヒストリックカーを、その方の代わりに売るお手伝いをしていました。そして彼がその他に所有している２台のヒストリックカーも売る決心がついたと言う事で、オーナーに代わって計５台の車の売却準備も含めての出張でした。
世界屈指のコレクターと昼食をご一緒させていただき車に対する価値観、考え方や所有の仕方、全てにおいて世界の常識を教えていただきました。残念ながら彼等と同じように車に対する情熱を持った人は僕の知る限り日本にはいないなと感じました。
そして、友人の車も全てではありませんが話がまとまりました。
モータースポーツ発祥の地であるイギリスには車に対する本当の価値を分かっている人が大勢います。奥深い国だと改めて実感しました。

 

JAPAN!!

I came back home today. This has been a valuable experience for me. And  I had a opportunity to have a lunch with a gentleman who is one of the biggest Historic car collector in the world. 
UK... There is so profound country. I faced a fact  in history which is not generally known.  Can't
 find any words. Was amazing.....  I got more motivated. I'll post the pictures to my blog soon.

an order from a customer

I have  had lunch with one of our biggest customer yesterday.
he wants me to find another Fiat Abarth 1000TCR for him.
when I got back from UK,  we started to work on another Fiat Abarth TCR!!
I'll have to keep looking authentic cars!

 

been busy week

we have been busy the whole time since last week　and begin another negotiation from next weekend in UK.I'm extremely exhausted ...
As the year approaches to an end, we are expected to be  busier!!!

Daimler Double Six をご存知ですか？
この車は約３０年前にDaimler Double sixの生産終了が発表され、最終モデルを当時UKにてフル・オプションでオーダーして購入しました。
外装はガンメタリック、内装はコノリー製のマグノリア。サイドカーテンをオプションで装備。
このDouble Six、今日まで１人のオーナーが屋内の車庫に大事に保管していた新車の雰囲気を残した車です。

MY favorite MORRIS MK1 COOPER S DOWNTON

コレクションに絶対必要なMk1ミニのレストアが仕事の合間を見ながら

始まりました。ベースはイギリスの有名なレーシングティームが３０年ガレージでストアージ

していたオリジナルペイントのミニです。もちろんパネルもオリジナルです。ミニはFERRARIや

PORSCHEと分野が違いますがVWと並んで世界１の名車だと思います。

FERRARIと違い国内の何処でも見かける車ですが良き伴侶になる車です。時代が

変化してサイズとして混んでいる街中では怖い大きさになってしまいました。

 

スペックは仲間がサーキットで使用している完璧なレース仕様に仕上げ、サスペンションストローク

とカムシャフトをロードスペックにする予定です。

 

下地のプライマーにアーモンドグリーン。塗装を剥がして初めて分かる

オリジナルペイント。

今年のGoodWood Revival でケニー・ブラック氏とエイドリアン・ニューウィー氏がドライブしたＧＴ４０が話題になってます・・・

おそらくオモチャやプラモデルで最も多く作られた車ではないでしょうか。正に1/１のプラモデルです。車庫に置いときたいNo１でしょう。

約30年前、数年かけてオリジナルの腐っていないこの車を探しました。困難を極めましたが見つけ出した時の喜びは今でも思い出します。グレーブルーにホワイトそして少し濁ったブルーのライン

倉庫から30年ぶりに出してきて再開しお化粧直しに取りかかっている所です。3０年前と同じ状態でしたのでブレーキやランニングギアをエージングするために取り外してグリス等を入れ替えています。エンジンのピストンも３０年間同じ位置で止まっていたのでシリンダーをホーニングしてピストンリングを交換しました。

 

床やフェンダーの中はまずオイルと灯油の混ざった物でふき取りその後ワックスをかけて甦らせました。

サイドガラスがパースペックス（プラスティック）だったのでオリジナルのガラスに変更し質感の向上を目指しました。レースカーは軽量の為にパースペックスに変更されています。

足回りのショックもやはり良い状態ではなかったのでイギリス製の物を注文したところです。

おそらく今週中には部品が届くのでその後一週間で完成予定です。他は磨いて取り付けるだけなので部品が届くまでに仕上がると思います。
