５月開催のRMオークションで、世界で最も有名な1970年モデル・ポルシェ９１１Ｓが出品されることが決まったそうです。

そのポルシェ９１１Ｓとは、映画「栄光のル・マン」のオープニングでスティーブ・マックイーンが乗っていた９１１Ｓです。

この車両はもちろん当時マックイーン本人が所有していたポルシェだそうです。カラーはSlate Greyでポルシェファクトリーオプションのエアコンが装備。

本来クラッシックカーで重要なポイントであるレースヒストリーとはまた少し違ったヒストリーですが、このポルシェ９１１Ｓは究極の1台だと思います。
